Threat to the US is not a partisan political agenda

Threat to the US is not a partisan political agenda, it is far worse, a dictatorial-driven aggression grounded in a non-partisan, military-empowered commander in chief instituted for war making.
It is unilateral in war, not subject to the counterbalance of the Congress and Supreme Court even when these are not controlled by sympathetic officials.
An emergency declaration of national security threat by the president will set in motion a singular, unchecked exercise of power, enforced by arms, to fulfill the orders of the CiC.
This declaration might already be in effect, secretly, as many have been under war or war-threatening (national security) circumstances, and as permissable under law. To reveal the declaration would be a high crime, perhaps "treasonous."
The USG war games such possibilities so it would not be difficult to convert realist training into realism, perhaps disclosing that a training effort is underway as a cover story to ease any fear of illegal takeover.
Coups often use this very deception, sometimes called disinfo or active measures.
A saluatory benefit of this pending crisis of presidential handover is to gird and instruct the citizenry in what to look, how to understand and what to do should the worst expectation of political and governmental abuse, call it "treason," becomes clearly underway, not just speechified and dire-warned and social mediaized with verbally narcotizing citizens into who-cares submission or Covid-benumbed indifference.
