Texans Reduxed an Alamo for Trump

Texans, mea culpa, have a heavy load to bear, in square miles if not long horns and fossil fuels, in tall tales and immigrants if not gun toting and first daughters named Ima Hogg (not a Ura, though).
When it gave up its solo nationhood to join the floundering US it retained the right to break up into 5 states, and 5 big chips on it shoulders remain fighting one another to be the leader of the pack: West (El Paso), East (DFW), South (Houston), Panhandle (Amarillo), Central (Austin/San Antone).
The internal battle is so fierce and unrelenting, the state miscreants pick much easier contests elsewhere to rest up and dicker with pushovers, in DC swamps, in Chicago beef lots, in Hollywood Giants and Alamos, in Saudi Arabian knights in dresses, in Japanese atomic incinerations.
That the state sucked a gang of others to join its assault on The Supremes, is nothing but a replay of Sam Houston hustling Outcast Outsiders at The Alamo to exchange brags and bullets with Mexico.
The end game never in doubt, Sam knew what Trump knows, when losing is inevitable, be sure to cook up a heroic last stand to live on in realistic fantasy.
