1. children should be spaced apart as much as possible.
2. Encourage distancing outside of classrooms.
3. Keep masks on when not speaking.
4. Consider battery-powered personal fans for the children not near windows. Be sure the fans are safe, soft blades and screens.
5. Include safety tips as part of classroom instruction, in an instructively entertaining fashion, comedy, cartoons, acting out, singing.
6. Do not frighten the children, build their confidence in protecting themselves and each other.
7. Teachers, custodians, administrators must demonstrate healthy and safety behavior at all times to encourage students to emulate.
8. Keep watch for parents displaying unsafe behavior when coming to the school, discuss what to do about infractions.
9. If a child becomes ill with Covid symptoms do not hide it, nor panic, nor abandon responsibility for wise education for everyone impacted.
