Cryptome, a website hosted by two New York State registered architects has published a series titled "Most Dangerous NYC Buildings," of full construction drawings for the structures, including all supertalls and high-rises approved by the Department of Buildings since 2012.

Background: Developers lobbied for diminished examinations of plans under the Koch Administration which was implemented in Directive 2-1975 and noted in stamps of examiners since to limit DoB responsibility.

In 2012 Mayor Bloomberg set up the DoB Development Hub for examination of plans for new building construction and major alterations. It was housed away from the DoB main building to convey its special role in speeding examination of plans.
For several initial years of the Hub only two unlicensed professionals examined plans for restricted compliance with the Zoning and Building Codes, omitting structural, mechanical and other components all of which were nonetheless stamped as approved.
The Development Hub has grown in staff size but continues to provide only limited review of submitted documents.
Finally, the Chief Structural Engineer at DoB published an article in the ASCE Journal criticizing the structural peer review of high rises. That article is also republished on Cryptome.org:
