Hooray for Decline of the Bigs
Why Spy Agencies Say the Future Is Bleak

Hey, as a willing participant in every gloom and doom forecast by the report, this is all good.
Decline in trust of big government promises and dominant, braying institutions, with their replacement by smaller and quieter ones is the way to go if open participatory democracies are desired rather than secrecy-obsessed exclusive autocracies.
Now, the report was prepared by the main organizations that thrive on big government promises and braying, dominant institutions, so it is to be expected they will gloom-doom their declining influence and diminished official secrecy, that is the role they play in justifying centralized control of the populace with national security threats, foreign influence claims, operations against, and with especially, other national intelligence hegemons assured privileges and perquisites of being in the know and keeping the citizenry ignorant.
Secret briefings of leaders in gov, com, org, NDAs widespread, lie detectors still credulous, vouching for one another in the private clubs, coaching the media on what's what in the domestic and international threat spectrum, are endemic, nay, pandemic, divisive, corruptive, disinformative, deceptive, lying, cheating, the business model assured of success for the few against the many, inside nations and externally.
Quiet pleased at the confessional tone of the report, predicting failure to support confidence of their superiors in maintaining the status quo.
Hooray for little people, to hell with too bigs.
