Messrs Savage, Goldman and Kessel must have had great fun with this iffy, so-called, unproven, salacious, tantalizing, purported, thin, raw, grain of salt, slanderous, compromising, rumor, funny thing, looked like, disinformation, misleading, false, baseless allegations. Then report it with straight faces.
The New York Post reporter on young Mr. Biden refused to have his name listed, allegedly because of the lack substantiation of what might be called the Guiliani Dossier.
"Dossiers" is a bit bar spy talk, and FBI offers hundreds of them on its FOIA web page, many famous persons listed along with a few nobodies. In the 1960s protest era it was an insider joke to claim to have an FBI dossier, or more excellently, one with the CIA. That the way to get one was to file an information request to the agencies, if you didn't have one before, the request would be the first entry.
Now, dossier has lost most of its thrilling mystery replaced with personal data siphoned from electronic devices, allegedly, yes, allegedly is still legit waffling. along with redaction, withholding, supposedly, anonymously sourced, inadvertently disclosed, disclosed by an unnamed, or named, insider, discovered on an abandoned laptop.
As the gentlelady allegedly whispered over cocktails, "if you have nothing good to say about somebody, come sit by me."
